Valentine's Cards Using Cricut Imagine

The Cricut Imagine makes it so easy to create quick cards. Sometimes my brain just gets tired of trying to come up with my own creative layouts, so the designs in the Imagine cartridges are just the trick!! I created two easy Valentine's Day cards using the Cricut Imagine More Cards and Better Together cartridges. I embellished each with sheer white ribbon from the Ribbon Boutique and add a few glitzy accents and stickers from my stash. The pink background papers are from the makingmemories Just Chillin' stack, on which I layered photo mats I had in my stash (sorry can't remember the maker and the package is long gone too!!). I used foam adhesive squares to add some dimension to the die cuts. Thanks for looking!! Patty

...and handmade too!: House of Cards

That's what life feels like, at the moment. House hunting in a competitive market is an emotional business. As a result, I've not been blogging much, because I've not been crafting much. It's frustrating when so many things come at once and you can't devote as much time to any of them as you would like to, or even give attention to all of them. Certain things get left on the kerb while we walk around property after property. It's not even like I'm in a creative rut. My mind is still sparking. In the last few weeks, our boiler rusted its pipes open, flooding the boiler room. My craft room/study/our walk-in wardrobe/laundry room/etc is right next door to that. Before the men could work on replacing the boiler we had to move everything out, find somewhere for it all, and then we sat and waite

Scraptastic Memories: Christmas In July

I am very excited to be co-hosting with Sharon on the Christmas In July Blog Party!! Christmas is a holiday that brings lots of festivities to us such as baking, decorating, spending time together with friends and family, and watching the classic Christmas movies!! We like to show our appreciation for others by sending greeting cards to those who have meaning in our life. What better way to express this than to actually take a little time out of our busy lives to create a handmade card to send to those special people in our life. It doesn't have to be complex or time consuming, it can actually be very simple but also very rewarding!! Here are a few examples of cards that I have been working on for the Blog Party, and to get a head start on the Christmas season. In the upcoming months I wil
